Agro-Processing

Processing

There are many stages in the process of producing our canned beans, from ensuring all our farmers produce the highest standard crops, to delivering them to our clients.

Stages in the process

Farming

Highland Canners promotes the production of quality green beans starting from the farms. The highest quality of inputs in terms of certified seeds, fertilizers, approved pesticides etc. are supplied to farmers, so that they can plant, manage, harvest, grade, and transport to our factory the very best of the beans, tailored to meet our client needs. We make it very clear to our farmers that only the extra-fine beans that meet the highest quality standards shall be accepted. It is with this point in mind that we only receive beans from farmers who meet set standards and follow Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) as stipulated by EUREPGap.
